My cookbook went out via 1st class USPS to WI on Saturday.
Should arrive in a couple of days.

Here I thought I was going to get a recipe for no calorie, no fat, etc.............but they do sound amazing!! I might just have to make some anyways, and then pray for miracles for the hips and waistlines!!

I'm only part way through the salads section (about 1/3 the way through the book), and I have found several recipes that I cannot wait to try. Don't worry about the seafood section (I am allergic); a cookbook that has more recipes that I can try than I cannot try is a win in my world. I also got some serving spoons and purple weave towels and dishclothes. They work great in my kitchen which had green marble counters with grape/vineyard accents! Of course spilled red wine is hidden better with purple than other colors!

Sorry..........somehow I missed this post that you received your package. Glad to hear that it arrived, and you loved it!! So glad that the purple matched you! I LOVE purple!! I almost went with green..........but sounds like I would have been okay either way!

I received my cookbook over the weekend from TinkerBelle739. It on Pennsylvania Duth Cooking and she included some Gourmet Mickey recipe cards.

I just got home from work and what was waiting for me??
Yipee - 6 of the yummiest sounding recipe books.

I lived in New England for a while long ago. It's wonderful to see some recipes of dishes I loved.

DH will be delighted - He is a "pie person" so he will love the pie recipes.

These books will get me back into the kitchen.

PS -The package arrived without a postmark. The stamps weren't cancelled by a machine - just a pen mark through them. Wierd - huh? Guess we'll never know the adventure the package must have had. I'm just grateful it made it.

So glad U liked them. Maybe it wasn't stamped because I mailed right at the window. I handed to the man behind the counter and he placed (ok threw in the big hamper thing) Glad it wasn't breakable. LOL

Now if only my post cards from the post card exchange would get there. I mailed everything at the same time.

An Hispanic Cookery book that the ladies from the mission in OK City put together.

Whew!!

I finally got my package out today. It should take about a week to reach its destination.

I received my order today at work...I came home and had the envelope ready to place the cook book in and off I ran to the Post Office!

Hope the recepiant will enjoy it!
