Regarding the Sears tower glass balcony

Never!! My heart started racing just looking at the pictures!

It looks soooooo cool. I wanna do that so bad. I may take my cousins in a couple of weeks.

They have something similar overlooking the edge of the Grand Canyon.

It gives me fever just thinking about it.

I went to the top of the Sears Tower for the first time this past March, and it was terrifying enough. This would make me insane with terror.

oh my god - i got that pitty stomach feeling just looking at it...

no way ever ever ever ever ever ever ever....

well...maybe for a billion dollars, but nothing less...

You wouldn't even find me all the way up in the Sears tower, much less on that balcony!

The CN Tower in Toronto has a glass floor that I stood on when i went to Toronto in 1995. I went to Chicago in 1982 and went up into the Sears Tower and watched a beautiful Sunset. I would love to see the glass balcony.

I think the one and only time I had a real panic attack was at the CN tower. I would not go out on that glass floor for ANYTHING!! :scared1::sick:

I can do the CN tower, and even the glass floor. I am nauseous looking at that balcony. I think my fear of heights is linked to feeling secure...it must be since I managed the parasailing...

DH - not a chance... watched the parasailing adventure from a good distance away. I don't think he can do the glass floor either.

I have been in the St. Louis Gateway Arch many times. the tram ride to the top of the Arch is somewhat Cramped. but the view at the top is awesome. the observation room at the top gets packed durring the summer but it seems to handle crowds well because many people. come and go frequently.

after looking at those pictures I had to lay down.

That's just not right.

:faint:

When I looked at the first picture of the little girl laying down, it didn't look like there were walls :scared1: I got a weird feeling just looking at those pictures. Not a chance I could do that.

We saw this on the news last night. DH Phillip would do it without hesitation. There is no way I could even get within 4 feet of the vertical/regular windows when I went up in the Sears Tower. I could NOT stand on that clear platform. Period. I could barely watch the reporter doing it on NBC.
