Has anyone used the childcare facility at AKL?? Just wondering what your experiences were? Also, my son, who desperately wants to go there has a sister who will turn 4 two months after we return home. Are they really strict on the 'age 4 years and up?' She is potty trained and loves to do everything her brother does. We would just be staying in the resort. I'm not comfortable not being able to get back to them within 5 minutes or so. We were just looking to have a nice quite 'adult' dinner. Any help would greatly be appreciated.

I used Simbas Last Jan for my 4 and 7yo's. They had a great time. It is not as extensive as Neverland club but they had just as much fun. Dinner is served on the hour, I believe 5,67pm but don't quote me. Typical kid food, fries and chicken tenders, they have a choice. All the care takers were "older" women. I will be flamed for admitting this but last year I took my DD's who were 6yo and "just shy" of 4yo ( used the potty well). No one asked ages and they also had a great time. It's basically a craft activity and a video with dinner. We had them there at Simbas for 1.5 hrs and they only charged me for 1.5 hrs. I expected to be charged for 2hrs. The price is what it would have cost to have them eat the same kids meal at Jiko and they would have been board stiff. I wouldn't hesitate to do this IF your kids want to go. I would not do it if they are hesitant,

DisORBust,
Thanks so much for a great reply! Yes, both my kids LOVE going to sitters! They like that sometimes more than being with me!! My little one HAS to do what her older brother does so it has to be either both of them or neither. I'll be sure to look at the clubhouse when we arrive and just play it by ear.
Thanks again!
