regarding purchase into DVC

Can you request to be placed on a waiting list to purchase into a sold out resort, like say Old Key West or Boardwalk, or are these just for add ons and re-sales.

You can purchase OKW via resale only(thru broker or Disney directly). You can see inventory at timesharesbyresale.com or timesharestore.com and see what is available at OKW. They have price per point and number of points and you make an offer.
