? Regarding cribs at the Disney Resorts...

Hey guys,
Just wondering if anyone can tell me what kind of "cribs" the resorts give you when you request one.....is it more like a crib or is it a pack and play, because when i was in chicago the crib they gave us was like a miniature crib and the mattress was hard and he didn't sleep one minute in it.....just wondering if anyone can tell me????

When we stayed at Disney Institute in '01 they gave us a Pack & Play.

However, just recently I read somewhere here that someone was given a full sized crib.

At the All Star Movies it was a graco pack and play - have a great time!

Most of the Disney Resorts have pack n plays and if they do have cribs they are the very small fllimsy cribs (probably similiar to the one you just described). The GF had a metal type crib that was also very flimsy and squeeky with a thin mattress. My dd would never sleep in anything but a full size wooden crib like the ones we have at home, so we rented one from Children's Furniture Rental and we were very happy with the service and the crib and mattress they provided!

We went to WDW at the beginning of April of this year. We stayed at POFQ and we needed three cribs (triplets) and we received 3 pack-n-plays. They also gave us a disney sheet to cover the mattress with. The boys all slept fine in them and we had no problems.

When we stayed at the Poly we had a small wooden crib. My DD, 17mo at the time, didn't have a problem with it. Now that she is turning 2 though, she probably wouldn't fit in it comfortable.

We always request pack-n-plays... and they are delivered with Mickey sheets
They have always served us well...

If you don't want to rely on the pnp provided by the resorts you can also rent a crib from A Baby's Best Friend (http://www.abbf.com), All About Kids (http://www.all-about-kids.com/, & I've seen Children's Furniture Rental mentioned but can't find a contact # or website for them.
