Regal Palms ?

This is so unlike us but we have not reserved a place for this summer. We usally stay at Vistana or Vistana Village but the deals are just not there.
A couple of years ago we visited Regal Palms and it looked nice. I would not be renting from a owner but from a place like Hotel Kingdom ( I do not want to have to worry about reputable owners).

Does anyone have any recent info on RP? I know the service is only mediocore but anything else would be helpful. I did a search and aslo went on Trip Advisor but still I would like to hear what Dis'ers say.

One more questions, do you know any sites with codes that would bring the price down? I remember last year the 3 bdrm was going for 99 per night now it is 125 per night. Where is Sky Auction when you need them??

We booked our trip at Regal Palms (04-29 - 05-08) through VRBO. We're paying $69.00 for the nights in May. In all the research I've done it seemed that the owner rentals were much cleaner and better equipped than the units rented through the resort ie Travelocity. We'll let you know how it was when we get back.

My friend just got back from regal palms. she went through travelocity and booked a 2 bedroom villa and ended up with a four bedroom villa. She said it was very clean and the lazy river was spectacular!

I had also heard this. There were some people at the hot tub when we were there that were not happy with their accommodations at all and I think they had booked through a place like travelocity. I booked through this person two years ago and we were pretty happy with the accommodations.

She prefers paying through Paypal and that allows you to use a credit card and get added insurance. Their townhouse was very close to the clubhouse. Some of the townhomes are very far away, so location is important here. This townhouse is one block away.
