Regal Palms vs. Windsor Palms

I'm trying to decide between staying at Regal Palms or Windsor Palms for the first four nights of our trip. (The last five will be at BCV.) The units I am looking at are similar in size and either would be fine. The main difference is that, to me, the pool area at Regal Palms looks much nicer, which I think would be nice for the kids. Can anyone comment who has been to one or both complexes?

I realize the distance from Disney is slightly farther to Regal Palms, but it is negligible to me -- 5 miles or so it looks like. We will likely only be going to Disney one day while staying offsite anyway as we want to do some other things in the area too, and go to the beach at Clearwater as well. My cost for Regal Palms will be a little more, which I am willing to do if it is nicer, but I'm just unsure.

Any thoughts or comments would be appreciated. Thanks!

we stayed at Regal Palms in Jan and although it is a beautiful resort, there are a few things to keep in mind. If you happen to be lucky enough to be in one of the units close to the pool as we were,,you are lucky. IMO,this resort is too big and some of the units are a great distance from the pool area. If you happen to be one of them,you may need to drive your car to the pool.

that being said, although the pool is very nice,IMO,it is way too small for the size of the resort. many days,we were unable to use the pool because there was no room to sit out there and I don't think the resort was at full capacity.

the units themselves are beautiful,spacoius with plenty of room for my family of four. we didn't find the drive to Disney long as we used the "short-cut of Sherbeth Rd. There is a Publix right next door to the complex with a few restaurants as well as a Chili"s. All in all,we'd stay there again and request the same unit we had this time,so we could be close to the pool. One more thing,bring your own beach towels....they never seemed to have enough.
