We have 2 kids and need 4 separate bedrooms for 2 adults each, total of 10 people over Thanksgiving week. Are considering Cypress Pointe Grand Villas for 3 bedroom unit it is 139 per night, plus $70 extra for a one bedroom unit so each couple can have their own room (works out 209 per night plus tax). Downside is that we may not be next to each other since we are getting 2 separate units. Also looking at 4 bedroom villa at Regal Palms for $150 per night plus tax but we will all fit in 1 unit. Have read mixed reviews about location and want to avoid 192. Any info on this? Like the reviews on the pool area, but wondering if all the villas are close enough to the pool area to use.

Have stayed at CPGV so know what it is like, much better location, not as nice pool, but a solid property. Regal, don't know much about...

Any help deciding would be appreciated : )

I would recommend Regal Palms Resort outside Kissimmee on Rt 27 south. (But then again I have never stayed at the other resort you are considering) It was fantastic! We stayed in a 3 bedroom 3 bath townhome and it was perfectly clean, quiet and fabulous! We LOVED the pool, waterslide ( my 5 year old 45" daughter said this was her favorite part) and the lazy river was so much fun! Our particular townhome was very close to the pool area. ::yes::

Some reviewers on tripadvisor.com negatively commented on the staff at the Regal Palms. We had no problems at all with the staff they we very professional and helpful. There was trash pickup each day, we collected the trash and left it outside by the front door each morning and they took it away and left a new trash bag!

We had lunch twice at the clubhouse bar and grill, trying out the turkey wrap, blue cheese hamburger, turkey club, fish and chips, hot dog, and the nachos. All were good, not overly fantastic but good decent food, prices were reasonable, although my husband, while waiting for the food to be prepared so that he could bring it back to the townhome, had pint draft of Bass Ale that cost $10! No kidding! Very funny!

It took us probably 15-20 min depending on traffic to get to Disney...in late Jan/early Feb that is! Another DISer commented on the recent traffic to me! uggg. I will say that it is on the less busy side of Rt192 by a huge margin in my opinion! :ssst:

With all that said we also got an amazing deal on our price per night, so I am highly recommending this place to all my friends! Wonderful! A+++ :jumping1:
