Has anyone been to Regal Palms recently? I had heard some not so good reviews but have seen it for a great price on many sites. Tripadvisor reviews were mixed but I just have a few questions. Do they have security 24/ 7 like Vistana and Marriott?? Also I had heard it was not all that clean any info re that ? I had stopped and visited it a couple of years ago and it looked nice but then I heard it went down hill. I am checking the search but wanted something more recent.

We were just there in February again. It was well worth the price we paid...which was like $70 a night or a 4 bedroom.

The pools were clean and the food at the pool restaurant is decent and reasonable.

Most of the complaints are when people book through the resort and not a private owner. I would suggest using cyberrentals or vrbo.com. When people own their units, they tend to make sure they are taken care of and cleaned.

It is definitely not 5 star, but the pool area is beautiful and you can't beat the space in the units.

I rented from a UK owner, and the house was lovely and clean. The resort was fab and I would have no problems staying again.

It is not gated.
