Reg disney ticket question

So I will be at WDW from july 8th-13th so I know it will be crowded and roasting hot.....My question is with a regular park ticket would I be able to leave if it gets too crazy and return later in the same day to that same park??

Thanks for the welcome and responses, sorry if it was a dumb question...I was just confused about park hopping, I have regular base tix. Good so I can leave and go back later in the day as long as it's to the same park
