Refurb Dates- typically on time?

I know that the big refurb/ rehaul to BTMR was delayed a bunch two years ago- it was closed for our last trip but scheduled to be open for this one! Matterhorn is closed but that I am okay with- even if it is always closed for us- we rode it once, got stuck for 40 minutes. I won't miss that one!

My question is- Grizzy Rapids is scheduled to open March 19- typically do refurbs of a few weeks/months open on time? Splash will still be closed so Grizzly will be our water ride fun- and my kids love it

And Splash scheduling to open April 3- any chance it may open earlier?!? Lol. It's the week leading up to Easter that week- I am hopeful some pixie dust magic will happen- but will deal with it if it doesn't- just ride POTC more

I think BTMRR was the outlier, in that it took far longer than estimated to complete the overhaul. I think there is a good chance that normal maintenance/refurbishments will end on time. That being said, there is no way to know in advance if they'll finish early. My guess is that they will not or only by a day or so at most.

When we went in February/March last year, Soarin and Splash were both supposed to be closed the ENTIRE time we were there. We did get some pixie dust, and got one or two days, as I remember, on each before our trip was over.
I would say don't count on early re-openings, and then it will be a WONDERFUL surprise if they do!.
You are still gonna' have a wonderful time!!!
