When I booked a 3 night Passholder Best Rate stay for January, my confirmation page stated:

"Apply Deposit

Please apply a deposit in the amount listed below to confirm this reservation. In order to receive a full refund of your deposit, notification of cancellation must be received at least 6 days prior to your arrival date."

Is this a change in policy? Is the passholder best rate deposit refundable now?

I just booked one today and this is what it said - no where did it say it was refundable

This has come up here once before, but Joan is correct....

The deposit on a BR ressie is nonrefundable, but, you can make changes to your ressie without penalty.... :flower:

How do I make changes to a ressie, Can I switch from the
Best Rate Program to the Magic your way package? When
I called tonight I got 2 different answers the first person
stated I could transfer the deposit from the BRP to the
MYWP but when I called back to make the ressie the
second person said they could't transfer the deposit/
I don't know what to do.

Beehive...

Call (407) 939-7429. I changes resorts & dates on my Best Rate ressie and it was very simple. I really don't know if you'd be allowed to switch from a BR ressie to a package without a penalty, but again, call (407) 939-7429 and ask.

Let us know how things go :flower:

thats all that matters to me, that I get what I want! I guess I spend so much there, they will do anything! :teeth:

Aren't you special..... :rolleyes2

Tink10, I will let you know how it goes. Worst case, I lose the
deposit which was only $120.00, I still think getting the
package with dining is such a better deal. :wave2:

beehive if the next time you call they tell you they can't do it ask to speak to a supervisor. I find so many times not all the CM's actaully know what is going on. I really can't seem them not letting you switch. After all they will still be getting your money.

Good Luck :)

Take Care

I spoke to my TA, they are booking the MYWP with dining, they
said as soon as I receive a confirmation number, I can call and request
the refund on the BRP, (I booked this myself). They said they won't
be able to transfer the deposit to the package, but since I have booked
another ressie, it should be no problem, with the refund :wave2: . Will let everyone, asap.

I don't like how the AP room discount has changed.. We had just purchased our AP's since we moved and I found out that you have to book 60 days in advance.. that stops a lot of last minute trips??

I just called 407-939-7675, and explained that I needed to cancel
my BRP ressie since I have booked another package, The CM was
very nice and said she would cancel the ressie and the whole deposit
would be refunded back to my credit card. She stated she was
unable to give me a confirmation number since I booked it online.

:wave2: This worries me alittle, but I am still at 53 days until
vacation, so I will check on this in a couple of days, before
the 45 days hits.

Is there a way to check what AP rates are available without going through the whole booking process?
Thanks
