Been at one bar since Sunday. Today I had topic 152 added.
Fingers crossed after this payout we get some deposit dates for those of us without one.

The IRS is saying that most refunds will be direct deposited within 21 days. Did they give you a date or are you just going by the 21 day thing they're saying?

I filed with TT once it was accepted TT gives you an estimated DD; I filed 1/31 and accepted on 1/31 TT gave me a DD of 2/21. IRS website is still on bar one. So who knows which date it will be, its wait and see who's right game.

They're doing things much differently this year than they have in previous years. Very annoying! TT is telling you 2/21 because the IRS expects to have all DD refunds processed and sent within 21 days. I guess the only way to find out the exact date is to wait for the IRS to update "Where's My Refund" and check --- they say they update it every 24 hours, usually overnight.

This year, I REALLY need the money! I hope I get mine soon! Last year, I filed on a Friday and had my refund the following Friday.

Same here! Filed on Jan 31st using HR Block software, accepted Feb 2nd. This morning changed to 2 bars. Scheduled for direct deposit on Feb 10th (which just happens to be my bday!) Yay!

Wow a lot seems to be coming thru this morning with a DD day of the 10th. I checked mine a few hrs ago and still processing. Checked again a few min ago and now has dd date of the 10th. I hope it is not a fluke! I need my money asap!
BTW.. 10th is my bday as well. What a great gift huh?!

Same here. And for the previous poster who was asking about education credits, I do have one this year and it doesn't seem to have delayed anything. Filed Jan 27th, accepted the 29th, DD date of Feb 10th... That's 15 days start to finish including the couple of days between acceptance and the start of the processing season.

Got the email this morning. Approved and February tenth is my refund date! Yay!

Checked Where's My Refund last night, still one bar. This morning: two bars and an estimated deposit date of 2/10!

Filed Monday morning 2/3, if the deposit day holds true it will be exactly 1 week from efile to refund receipt. Very pleased with this although out refund is $1000 less now that our oldest is 17. Most of the funds will pay off her trip to Europe with her music department, the rest will be put towards her sister's orthodontic bills and vehicle maintenance. Could think of 1000 other ways to use the $ but thankful that we are getting a refund at all.

We also have a 17 year old that dropped us $1000. Makes no sense to cut us off cause their 17. They are more expensive now than ever lol!!!!

I read that your deposit first gets sent to Turbo Tax, they remove their fees and then they send it to your bank? Who knows. I've never had this happen before.

My bank said sometimes it can take 24 hours for the federal reserve to clear them once they are sent.

Yes, if you chose your fees to be deducted from your refund Turbotax will get your refund and then deposit in your account. It can take 3-5 business days before you see your refund. I always pay my fees with a credit card to prevent this from happening.

I got mine today in my bank account so I guess turbotax got yours.

Still nothing for me. Filed 1/31 accepted 2/1 and have had tax topic 152 for a couple of days. I checked early this morning and nothing, went to check a few min ago and it kept saying it was down and now it says I've exceeded the daily number of attempts yet I was only able to see anything once after midnight. Hopefully I'm on the next round.

My daughters was accepted 1/31 and she has a dd date of 2/10 but my son's was accepted before hers and he doesn't have a date yet.

Now I know for next time. I do this every year and never had a problem. I always get it on the deposit day.

I've also read there are new laws in place and the IRS can't release any money ahead of time so no early deposits this year. Maybe that's another reason.
