Refund for Park Ticket if Flight is Cancelled?

I am nervous. We have reservations to stay in Disney Springs this coming weekend (arrive Friday leave Monday); our flights are booked. We are only doing a quick trip from Cleveland to Orlando with plans to visit Magic Kingdom and Epcot. If something happens that our flight is cancelled or we can't get there on Friday, we won't be able to go back for a long time. If I purchase the theme park tickets for two days and something happens we can't get there due to flights, will we be able to get a refund for the tickets if we can't get to Disney? worried if we wait, they will sell out of tickets. Thanks in advance!

I bought park tickets only for our (planned, not certain) spring trip, and I was told that I can't get a refund if we don't go BUT I can apply them to a later trip, and the tickets never expire.

no refund. You can move it to another day at any time (you’ll pay the difference though). If unused you may also be able to assign it to another person.

Tickets purchased directly from Disney are non-refundable, but, if wholly unused, you will get a credit for the purchase price toward the purchase of future tickets. Tickets bought from a reseller may be refundable, at least in part, depending on the reseller's policies.

If I’m understanding correctly, you’re thinking you may only use one day of the two? If that happens the second day of the tickets will expire and cannot be used for a future date. The second day will just be lost.

I think OP is worried about snow predicted for Thursday night.

If you get there late and use one day, the rest of the ticket will expire 4 days after the selected start date. https://disneyworld.disney.go.com/faq/tickets/ticket-dates/ I would probably wait to purchase your tickets. I tickets run out I would just eat somewhere at Disney but outside of the parks and visit DS. We have done that and it's still fun.

Not sure if it is more expensive to buy when you get there but if you buy tickets now that you can't use, that is more expensive anyway.
