Refund after paid in full

We have already booked and paid in full for our trip in May. We had a mod and QSDP. If a new offer comes out in April for free QSDP (that would save us about 700) Can I change and get a refund?

If you are more than 45 days out yes. You can cancel your existing reservation and book a new one (but may lose a particular room type, it depends on availability. Under 45 days the offical policy is a change fee of $50applies if the package is changed but usually only is charged if you downgrade and even then some CM's will waive it.

Why change, if a code comes out just call and ask to have it applied to your reservation and they will refund you the difference, thats what I always do, and what I will do this year, if free dining comes out, I will call and apply the code and get the refund(the difference) no reason to cancel trip and book a new one.

Yep! We did exactly that !

I booked early for Easter (April 2-April 8) and originally, there were no discounts possible. I paid off our trip 45 days in advance, then I started reading about the free QSDP pin on the boards. I called about 4-5 times and finally got the free QSDP !

We already had the normal dining booked, but I was able to pay the extra to upgrade. I'm not sure if they charged me the $50 fee, but I received a refund of $767, so I wasn't complaining !

Have you checked to see if you have the free QSDP ? I called multiple times before they "found it" for me ! It's worth a few phone calls !
