Refueling at MCO - Warning

Yesterday we got to MCO and had to refuel our rental before turning it in. Of course we drove up Samoran Blvd and stopped at the first station $2.79 a gallon - not realizing we should have driven a couple of BLOCKS north where it was $2.08 a gallon!!!! My husband was NOT happy. Thank goodness the tank was only 1/2 empty. Buyer beware!

Re fuel at Disney Hess stations on property, some of the BEST prices around, then top off at your return. You will use less than a gallon to get to the Airport.

If the gas station looks horrendously expensive at least do a little more looking around.

Returning to airport via I-4 East and then Bee Line (528) east, get off Bee line at exit 9 Tradeport, left at bottom (north), cross under, nice reasonably cheap gas station to top off is right there.

You are about 2 miles from the airport, don't cross back under but instead continue the other way (north), get in middle lane, required right onto McCoy (east), takes you around outside of toll booth, back to Semoran and airport north entrance.

I always fillup on Disney property before leaving and it's always still on full at the airport. It's about 20-25 miles all highway so less than a gallon is used.

The price on property today at the Hess stations was $2.11 per gallon - cheaper than anywhere else on or off property.

we always rent a car, and Hess on WDW property is definitely the best price in town. You wouldnt think it is, but they are.

Like others have posted, it doesnt take much gas to get to MCO and I had the AC on full blast all the way there.
