Refrigerators in room?

Did I read somewhere that Disney is now supplying refrigerators in rooms free of charge?

We had one in Coronado Springs and it would hold a 2 litre bottle lying down.

Just a reminder.....the fridges are only being placed in the moderates and deluxes for no extra room charge. Value resorts will still pay the daily rental fee.

If booking a moderate or deluxe, be sure to request the refrigerator--it's one of the countertop, dorm-size ones. I read somewhere that they were installed in most of the moderate and deluxe resort rooms, but some people have reported they weren't in the room as recently as two weeks ago.

I called today to add some requests to our ressie and asked about the fridge. We are booked for two rooms at POR and the fridge is included at no extra charge. Thanks!

Keep in mind if you do stay at a value resort, you can get a very nice fridge from a company in Orlando that will deliver it to the resort for you. The nicest thing is their week rate is only $45.00. We have used them many times (not just for fridges) and wouldn't consider a trip to WDW without them.
