Refrigerators at Moderate resorts

I understand that refrigerators are now included for moderate resorts. But then I was reading something (the 2006 Passporter, I think) that said a fridge would have to be requested upon check-in. Are the fridges standard or must we ask when we arrive?

I believe they are now providing fridges free of charge in all moderates...at least according to the 2007 Passporter. We had one at POFQ.

All moderates have fridges, or at least our room at POFQ had one in '05

The refrigerators are the smaller dorm size and have no freezing compartment. Big enough to keep several bottles or cans of beverage cold. There are some threads that have pictures of the refrigerators.

At CSR we had fruit in the top compartment and it froze. It probably wont freeze water or anything like that but fruit will freeze. So be careful what is in the top part of fridge.
