My wife and I are sailing on Disney Wish 2/19/24. She needs a way of freezing an ice pack to place in a small lunch box size cooler when away from the ship and on the ride home. Any advice here? Best Disney could offer was to ask ask for ic eon disembarkation day.:ssst:

Thanks

I don’t think that’s really an option and I’d say bring ziplock bags to make your own ice packs. Ice can be brought on an airplane as long as it’s frozen going through TSA, just drain any excess water that’s melted before passing through security. If you are driving stop and get more ice as needed along the way.

I have had guest services freeze an ice pack for me on multiple ships. Just label it with your name & room number and they should have no issue freezing it for you. You just go back to guest services to pick it up whenever you are ready to.

You might want to look into a Frio Cooling Pack. My husband has used these for years for his injectables. He’s been very pleased with them even when having to travel for long periods of time like cross country or overseas flights. We got his from Magellans.

I second the FRIO. DH has used them on cruises, WDW, camping trips, and various other vacations.

I second the Frio pack for off the ship. It will keep the amount of insulin she needs for the day at roughly room temperature.
