Refridgerators at the Pop Century?

I was talking with a friend and she mentioned finding something on this website about a refrigerator swap in the Pop Century hotel. She said something about college students who donated them and it is cheaper then dealing directly with Disney.
I am going to Disney in November with two children and would like to get a fridge. Can anyone help with details?

There are several threads on the Budget Board. They weren't donated by college students but other people on the DIS pitched in to buy them and now it is free.

Hey there! I just got in on a fridge swap and it was really easy! Check out the Perfectly Pleasant Pop Swap on the budget board. I think that they have spots open in your time frame. Hope it helps.
