Are refridgeraters provided at any of the three on site resorts and if so, is there an additional cost? I take insulin for my diabetes. So does my brother in law.

Actually you can get a 'fridge for extra cost.... BUT! Just tell the person at the desk you need a 'fridge for your medications and it will be free of charge. I'd even call ahead of time to let them know. Maybe you can get your room assignment early and have the 'fridge already in the oom and running. They do take awhile to get cool.

Found this out the other year, we need a 'fridge for our 1 yo's milk bobbies. When my wife requested a 'fridge at check in, the attendant gave wifey a nod and a wink and asked her if we needed it for medication. After she asked my wife the same question 3 times, she finally got the drift. Needless to say we got the 'fridge for free.

Fridge is one area where I give the thumbs up to disney.

At HRH fridge is a mini fridge and is filled, needs a key etc.

At AKL when we were there last year we had a fridge that was empty.

There are times when I am harsh on disney resorts but on this one they win hands down although requesting one "for medicinal" purposes has merit. Medicinal as in keeping beer cold- ok maybe water.

We actually had no trouble at all getting a fridge. Just got back this weekend- when we got in the room we called star services and said we needed a fridge- five minutes later one arrived. We never were charged for it.
