Okay here is a really dumb question from a 63 yo non tech savvy mum. I hear all the time about how to get a good lightning lane time you should keep refreshing the App. Can someone please explain in simple (dumb) terms how you do this on an android device. Thanks

It has been awhile since I have used lighting lane but I believe you just swipe down on the screen once you get to the bottom to refresh it. Hopefully someone can confirm that.

Thanks, guess I'll get the hang of it, I'm just not very good with technology.

Yes I have android too, just swipe down (almost like a pull) and the screen should refresh. There will be a gray area at the top which I'm seeing msg "Checking Availability..." appearing which tells me it's refreshing info. And then "Last Updated" msg should also change date/time to reflect updates. This grey area then disappears but will show again on next swipe.

Thanks so much for the detailed reply. I tend to be all thumbs when it comes to my mobile phone. I text really slowly, I cannot get the hang of using the camera at all. My old arthritic fingers just aren't deft enough to do the more intricate moves of zooming in and out (I just bought myself a new little point and shoot camera which I love). I think I should be able to handle this though, certainly gonna give it my best shot. I know when you see a time pop up you have to be quick and grab it so hopefully I will be able to get the hang of it. Its not that I am afraid of technology or moving with the times but when you have dodgy fingers it does make using mobile phones a bit of challenge. Yet another reason why I wish we could still have the old FP system. Thanks again.

One thing that might help with the fingers would be to get a small stylus that you can use on your phone? Then you can tap precisely on what you want.

Good tip thanks, I think my daughter might have a spare one of those so I could give it a go and see if that helps. Thanks again.
