Refresh my Memory - PS for Rainforest Cafe at Downtown Disney?

Can someone refresh my memory - is it possible to make a PS for the Rainforest Cafe at Downtown Disney? If I am remembering correctly - you didn't used to be able to, but I thought I heard recently that they now accept them. Is this the case? Do you have to make a ressie at the restaurant directly, or is it handled like all other PS's?

Last year we made a reservation/PS, but couldn't do it through disney dining. I got the phone number from them and then called the RFC directly.

PS doesn't work for RFC, you need to call them directly, or if you have a Safari Club Card you can use that too!

Can't recommend the Safari Club card strong enough. When we bought ours 2 years ago, it was $10. I looked at it as paying $10 to cut the line that night (you also get 10% off of your total bill). Since then we've received at least $20 in gift certificates from the parent company (Landrys?) which we've used at our "local" rain forest....the best part is the card never expires....so when we go back to the world we just walk up and get seated without waiting.....
