Did anyone that was there this weekend get to see Reflections? Is it worth staying for? We always did other things or left before Mystify because we just didn't like it. Reflections a better show?

Can you see the fireworks from under the roof of the stadium or do they just open the seats up by the water?

I attended the show on Friday. I was impressed with the show but never did see Mistify. They only had the downstairs open but the park had emptied out considerably by then.

To give you an idea how much I enjoyed it, I will be bringing the family down in 25 days and will be in the area through the 4th. We had toyed around with skipping the crowds at Disney and going to Sea World (we all have annual passes due to a birthday vacation in October). I was concerned because I know how the Magic Kingdom does a big fireworks show. I enjoyed Reflections so much that I have stoppe dbeing concerned and know where we are spending the 4th.

thanks Chris, then we definitely have to check it out. Do they still use lasers on a wall of water like Mystify or is it all fireworks now?

There was a wall of water with video. Some laser usage but only for effects. Most of the show is fireworks and water fountains.

Any thoughts on the best place for viewing? I went to SW over Memorial Day weekend and purchased the full year pass so I would love to take her back for the 4th, but wanted to know where the best spot to "campout" for the show might be.

I would sit in the theater to get the full effect. I would imagine that the fireworks could be seen across the lagoon but you will miss all the ground effects.

seen it twice so far, from the front row of the theater, would recommend sitting in the theater. Saw some people with strollers setting up on the path by some gaps in the fence. But that would be a side perspective.

We went on Wednesday. We were a little disappointed they did not have the upstairs seating open as all the theatre seating was taken. We had just finished watching shamu rocks, went to bathroom and hoofed it over there as fast as we could. You could not see the fireworks from under the roof, so we walked down the stairs and literally watched it from standing on the stairs. There were lots of people left standing. If its standing room only like this, I recommend they open the upstairs seating! But, my kids did enjoy it. It was a great end to a great day! We had a ball at Seaworld, and this morning as I drove my kids to their summer programs they asked when we could go back and see the dolphins and whales.

We will be going on Friday & perhaps another day within the week. How early should we get to the show?

We will be there this Friday also. We fly in late Thursday night and the kids are looking forward to seeing Manta during the Passholder preview times.

I was alone when I saw the show the beginning of the month. I left Shamu Rocks IMMEDIATELY after and got ahead of the crowds. The back way by Wild Arctic was open and I quickly walked down that way ahead of the pack. I sat in the front part and was not under cover. I estimated that I was there about three - five minutes before the seats really filled up. Please keep in mind that the crowd that night by my estimate was very light and relatively relaxed. I am expecting a different and much larger crowd for the week leading into the fourth.

Passholder Preview time? What is this? I have passes to Busch Gardens/Water Country in Williamsburg that also get us into Sea World. Do you know if that counts? If not, I may have to contact them to ask. We can't wait to ride Manta also!

I believe that you need to have an annual passport. It gives a perk for the one and two year passes and then they should be out of the way by the time everyone else enters.

We are going to seaworld on either sat 5th or sun 6th sept (help advise me on which is likely to be less crowded- i know its labor day wkend), anyway we really want to see this. is it realistic to go from shamu rocks (with 2 young children) and manage to get theatre seating for reflections. i dont know what labor day crowds are like, and are aware that its the last weekend before the park starts closing early and reflections will not run. any feedback would be greatly appreciated

We just finished our last night at Sea World for this trip. I don't know if you have young kids. I would sit on the left side of the stadium and be ready to leave ASAP for the least stressful approach. Keep in mind that you will have a couple thousand of your newest friends following your lead in a short time. Depending upon how busy the park is, I can tell you that the fourth was crazy. We staked out a spot as soon as the ropes fell at 8 for a 10:30 PM show. By 9, the stadium was mostly full and the 9:15 show of Shamu Rocks had not let out yet.

They did have an entire area blocked out for people who chose to purchase quick queue. They could have got good seats right up to about 15 minutes before the show which could have justified what I consider to be an awful lot of money for a couple rides.
