I have never heard of this, but ran across a thread mentioning it. Can kids get free refills on their food at TS restaurants? I'm guessing no, but had to ask!

A while back they used to allow you to get seconds at CTR. I'm sure if a child asked for more, I couldn't see them being denied, however you may be charged for the extra helping. Portions are pretty big though.

There are "family style" restaurants that are "all you care to eat" where they will continue to bring out more food for you. And of course there are buffets. CRT used to be all you care to eat, but there are varying reports on that now. I can think of any "normal" restaurant that would bring you seconds.

Thanks! I was just wondering about children under 10....I had read they could ask for more. Thanks again!

It's possible someone had a server that gave a child seconds, but there aren't any table service restaurants where you order from a menu that this would be SOP.

At some restaurants you can ask if they can upsize a child's meal, but there will be an additional charge.
