Refills at Yak & Yeti

I've read a couple different places about Yak & Yet not offering free refills on the DDP. However, I can't figure out if this is all drinks (like soda) or just certain ones. Anyone had any experiences with this?

when we ate there in January 2011 (2 months ago) we were on the Deluxe dining and we were told the only beverages allowed on the Disney dining plans were soda fountain drinks or tap water (no bottled water, no ice tea and no coffee...those were all "ala carte" beverages according to our waiter.) AND we were told that soda refills (and the lemonade that was on fountain) would be charged ala carte also...he specifically says, the Dining Plans allow ONE beverage only folks. The same thing was told us at Via Napoli over in Epcot (which is also a non-Disney-ownded restaurant.) Every Disney-owned restaurant has allowed any fountain drinks or tea, coffee and some even allow milkshakes as the dining plan drinks. All of the Disney-owned places allowed refills on fountain drinks, coffee & tea (but not on milkshakes)

Now others have posted they had no issues getting free refills at Yak & Yeti, so who knows. Maybe it's just our waiter's way of getting out of some extra running back & forth:confused3

The only thing you can do is ask for a refill and see what happens.:thumbsup2

WE have found that they seem to have "different" rules then the other Disney places I would ask before ordering anything
