Refillable OKW mugs

I don't think they have changed but the price for refill is about 1.85!!!!

Ahhh... but I hear that BWV now has FREE refills. Could this be just one more reason that BWV is superior to OKW?

Nope...it's incontrovertible evidence that BW is inferior.....otherwise they wouldn't have bribe people with a few cents worth of soda!!! (couldn't resist, right back at you). Frankly, I think it's great that BWV got the refillable mugs even if we don't (yet) have the free refill mugs at OKW.

I would like to go on record and say that the most deciding item in joining DVC was the refillable mug program...... I figured that my family and I over 42 years would save well over 250.00 on the ever rising cost of soda and coffee.

I hope that Disney does not cancel this widely popular program. With EE and E-Nights currently shelved I'm not sure my family can take much more of the cuts..... What's next, bring your own towel to the pools, Clean your own place on trash and towel day. Heck, I've even heard rumors that we may have to start making our own reservations.

Wow, Lyndon, did you ever get ripped off!! You should really take a complaint to the highest level because your guide LIED to you in a shameless effort to get you to buy into DVC. There ARE NO REFILLABLE MUGS AT DVC RESORTS. Until last week, that is, when apparently they appeared out of the blue at BWV.

However, that doesn't take away from the fact that you were manipulated with the oldest timeshare tactic in the book: "Saving $250 over 40 years."

The reason they have free refills at BWV and not at OKW is simple... they know that with the marathon walk to get from your room to the lobby at BWV, no one will be able to take advantage of it anyway! They sell you a $10 mug, but put the refills 26 miles away to keep people from getting to them.

They'll never have free refills at OKW because it is just soooooooo convenient to go outside to your car that is parked 20 feet from your villa, drive to Goods to Go, park it, walk another 20 feet to get your refill, walk another 20 feet back to your car, drive it back to your villa, park it and walk the final 20 feet back to your villa. With all of that super convenience, Disney would definately lose money on the free soda thing!

Are you all sure BWV has FREE refillable mugs. When did that change and where do you fill er up? We were last there in Feb and mugs were available but about 96 cents for refills. We were at VWL in Sept. and they definately have free refills.

I guess OKW gets free refills the same day the pool slide opens :-}
