refillable mugs

What is your favorite re-fillable mug/container at US or IOA?

We are going in Oct. and I wanted to know what one is the easiest to carry. I know my nephew got Spongebob It was HUGE and ackward looking to carry.

The blue mug with spongebob on the front and a gr8 handle for about 6 dollars!! Great for refills

I like the MIB refillable mug because it has a handle. Refills are $1.34 that includes the tax. They are good at both parks and also Sea World and Wet and Wild.

I would like to add one with a handle to my collection, they do look very nice to carry. The Sponge Bob, or any mug with a charcter topper (like the Cat in Hat mug) are horrible for carrying all day (but not a bad deal when they offer them in the summer months with all-day free refills).

Don't forget, they also will fill them with ice and water for free.

I like my terminator one also u get AP discount on refills at counter service or restaurant saves u 10 cents but over 14 days that a few happy hour beers

Do you get refillable mugs from any concession stand in the parks?

Are they the same price everywhere or is there a place that has them cheaper than other places?

If i remember the refills are 1.50 and 1.34 with an annual pass. You get them from alot of the consecion stands and there are $6 and $10 ones I think. They still charge the same for refills

They are $1.34 without the annual pass discount. The outside vendors don't give AP discounts except for a few that are connected via computers such as the one in front of Shrek. The counter service and restuarants give you an AP discount and they are $1.13 with the AP discount.

The Jimmy Neutron and MIB cups are $4.99 plus tax and the Sponge Bob is $9.99 plus tax. Sponge Bob is more than any of the other cups in the park because they hold more. These prices also include the soft drink when you first purchase them. After that refills are $1.25 plus tax, which makes the refills exactly $1.34 which is less than the cost of a small drink.

The only way to get a discount on the price of the cups is to buy them at one of the stores with an AP discount. They are the same price all over the parks including the restaurants.

someone at my work thought that the Mummy ? was a canteen style is this true ?

Yes, the Mummy has a plastic canteen. It has a plastic neck strap. Just a warning: The strap is not very sturdy if the canteen is full of drink. It works fine when the canteen is empty though. They cost $9.95 plus tax. Refills are the same price as the other refillable mugs.
