Refillable mugs

How would they know if it was a current looking 2 month old mug if they don’t touch/scan mugs? Or was it a years old mug?

To use the refillable mug program, you buy a new one for each trip. Even with the temporary changes for safety and Covid, the rules are still the same, It is nice they are offering some flexibility like allowing more than one refill since it does help keep the number of people waiting. At BLT, they let us show a picture of it and the receipt vs, carrying all the mugs.

But, as a reminder to all, we don’t allow people to have conversations on ways to get around rules of programs at WDW.

We bring ours in our luggage, but their are several other coffee vendors on-site and even Starbucks (not a fan) in the Parks. A lot of the resorts have coffee bars as well, ie Kona Cafe coffee bar at Poly, GF has one as well.

Not a fan of Starbucks either and I am spoiled by my expresso machine at home. Tried the coffee at different places , was not impress. I will bring a little Italian expresso coffee maker that you put on the stove next time with my coffee .

Another reason why we like DVC villas vs. hotel rooms - DVC villas have real coffeemakers (not the little one-cup pod machines), and we can bring the ground coffee we like!

While we typically fill our mugs with coffee in the morning, will not say that the coffee is great, but get's the job done. In our experience, Poly, POR, AoA, and BC have standard milk/creamer but nothing flavored. If having groceries delivered, just add your favorite creamer to your cart and should be good to go!

Probably a not so smart question but we never bought the refillable mugs in the past... If you buy them 1 trip can you bring them with you on another trip? I'm assuming that's why the thread started- when ever they switch over to new mugs can you not get refills? Thank you.

They have chips in them that prevent this now.
