Does anyone know what time of year they typically change the design of the mug? I've got a ton of the current design and hoping for something new in May.

They don't change every year. More like every couple years. Though they did just add in a white handled option a couple months ago.

If they do change them it always seem to me just before we go in September / October so I am guessing they do it at the end of the summer. They seem to change them very 2 years or so.

Inbekieve the white handle is an option. In feb I could have gotten my blue mug with a blue or a white handle.
