We are "resort hopping" on our trip this May. 1 night at Kidani, 3 nights at BLT and 4 nights at BCV. If we get the standard dining plan for the first night at Kidani the refillable mugs come with the package. Can we use these mugs at the other resorts during this trip? i know you aren't supposed to bring back mugs from previous trips and use them but since we are staying continuously for 8 nights just at different resorts is it legit?

Are there refill stations at BLT and BCV?

I have used them on a split stay - a 2 week vacation where I changed resorts once.

We did a split stay last year and Disney said that they were transferable to our second resort with no problem:). Have fun!

The wording on the signage in the drink stations is open to interpretation:
GRAB*A*MUG
Free Unlimited Refills available
from this Beverage Station

until the end of your stay during which the mug was purchased.

I suppose that you could take it to mean the length of your vacation at Disney or only the length of your stay at that particular resort. It would never hurt to just ask a CM.

The CM's will tell you if you that it's fine to use it if you have a split stay. I did recently and I was told no problem. It really is about bringing them back trip after trip that breaks the letter of the policy.

If they go to the chip system it may be an issue then but right now it's not.

PS this thread will quickly get closed and and you'll be told to keep questions to the sticky Resort Mug Thread at the top of the RESORTS Thread in the Planning Forum, so don't be surprised. Here's the link:

Oops! Forgot to answer your question about BLT and BCV...
I'm not familiar with BLT (I think the station is at Cove Bar in the pool area) but I know that you can get refills in the Marketplace at BCV and also at Hurricane Hanna's.

Thanks for the feedback. Didn't realize there was a thread for the mugs! Hot topic.

are you getting the dinning plan for the rest of the trip too or just for the first night??
I wouldn't feel right using them for the rest of the trip if I wasn't getting it

For the mugs, it only says *length of stay*. I'm sure if you had to purchase a *set* number of days it would be worded as such with the dining plan.

We purchase the mugs and have *never* bought a DDP.

If she were getting the dining plan for the rest of her trip, she would be entitled to more mugs with that stay. My guess would be that she isn't. However, you pay the same amount for the refillable mug whether you're staying one night or 14. The only point of confusion lies in what is meant by "the end of your stay". Does it mean when you check out of the resort where you purchased the mug or does it mean when you complete your vacation?
