refillable mugs

I'm new to the refillable mug, so please dont flame me.

I just need clarification of the rules. I know its for your length of stay. Is that length of stay at the resort or the entire vacation?

I have a split stay planned. BLT w/quick service plan and CBR w/regular plan. Am I able to use the mug I got at BLT at CBR. Or do I have to buy a new one?

You are allowed to use it at your second resort during your one trip.

The refillable mug is included in the Quick Service Dining plan, so you will be able to use it only at BLT.

It is not included in the regular dining plan when you move over to CBR - in order to use it, you would have to purchase it for your remaining days at CBR.

Officially I think they are supposed to stay with the resort you got it from, however, unofficially most use them at the next resort as long as it is the same trip. What is not permitted is bringing it back with you for your next trip and using it, but sense you are just transfering resorts that should be fine. I don't think I would buy another mug during the same trip, I would just use the one at both resorts.

I agree. I would say you shouldn't bring it back for a trip months or years later. But if you are doing a split stay I really don't think there is any harm. If you're really concerned or torn about it, ask a CM at your resort and see what they say.

Ok, I'm doing a split stay at two different resorts. Do I have to buy mugs for each resort?

That sorta used to be the case when each resort had it's own style mug. Altho many people went ahead and used em at both resorts anyway.

Today, the mugs are pretty much all the same. So there's hardly any point. And honestly, if you ask at any Disney resort and explain the split trip, they'll tell you .. they put more weight on the "for the duration of your trip" portion than they do "at the resort where you bought it."

That is if they put any weight on it at all.
