I thought I saw mention of refillable mugs that are not the ones with the "sipper cup" deal. These (I thought) were good for your length of stay or forever or something??
Does this exist or am I (once again) imagining things?
If such a thing does exist, can you give me the details?

From what I have read. You buy the mug there and as of 3/18 ish last person I saw post a price the refills are 69 cents. They last forever so you can keep bringing them back if you wish for the refills. I also heard you can get Icee refills for $2.50. I believe thats accurate I havent used or had one myself but did a search and thats what I came up with.

Hope that helps,
Jonny

the souvenier mugs are not included in the meal deal - they are sipper cups

souvenier mugs are refillable for 69 cents and are good for life

hOW MUCH DOES TH MUG COST?

researching the menus on all ears dot com, I found the mugs to be six dollars or ten dollars (9.99). I am guessing one mug is larger for the higher price? Most of the counter service and snack places advertise 69 cent refills on the menu site.:thumbsup2

The more expensive mugs aren't any bigger just more ornate. The SpongeBob cup costs more and it holds exactly the same amount. When you buy the cup, your first drink is free. After that, you just pay for the refills.

Thanks for that clarification, Phantom. I wondered why there were two prices for the souvenier mugs.

the year that dueling dragons went up was the time i bought my mug.
i bought the blue one/ice.

ever since, i have taken it back with me for the refills.
they are valid for the lifetime of the mug.

last year, a tm replaced my plastic straw for me as it was in sad shape.

when you do the refills, you can use your ap or aaa card for the 10% discount on the refill.

am i cheap or what...........:rolleyes1

Anybody know if you have to put the cup in a locker or are you ok with clipping it to your belt for the rides?

I'm trying to avoid those darn lockers this upcoming trip.

on the coasters, you will need a locker.
if you go over your time, you don't have to necessarily pay for it to be opened.

the tm's are aware if the waits are long you won't be able to get back and retrieve your belongings within the "free" time period.
they will open it for you. you tell them the ride you were on and when you got there and they are good with opening the locker.

when they do, i always leave a thank you at guest services to let their supervisor be aware how much i appreciated their help.
it goes a long way for employees.

for other attractions and rides, like shrek, jaws, jimmy neutron, etc, you can clip the mug to your belt.
i have seen guests use the sling strap to carry the mug so their hands are free.

i 'm not a fan of the lockers but i understand it is for a safety reason.
