Refillable mugs?

Are there separate mugs for coffee and cold drinks or are they one and the same? Thanks!

Same one for both, they do have two styles tho, car like travel mug and a fat one.

New to WDW. travelling for the first time in March. What is the purpose of refillable mugs? Do you recommend purchasing one?

You can use the mugs at your resort's food court area. With the mug, you pay one price to purchase the mug and can refill it with coffee, tea, hot chocolate, and soft drinks. Milk and OJ are not included. If you spend enough time at the resort and like these type of drinks, it is worth it.

It usually saves our family money.

Yes, I do recommend using them. I have a family of 4. We bought 2 mugs and shared it. The kids shared one and my husband and I shared one. It is great for all the coffee, soda drinks, hot chocolate that you want back at your resort. We ate breakfast at the resort and used them. Then when we came back from the parks we also used them at night. Worth it if you plan on spending 3 or more nights at your Disney Resort. Cannot take the mugs to other resorts or theme parks for your refill....just the resort where you bought them from.

I hate to say it but 2 mugs for 4 people is not the plan they are intended for.
It's kind of like stealing.

Ouch, feel the hand slap. Never thought of it that way, I do see your point. Will likely buy four, I can feel the guilt already.

There is nothing to say you can't share. Plenty people share and we are one of them. We buy one mug and me and my dbf share it. Sorry but at $13 a pop we are not buying two of them, i dont even drink that much pop. We also stay at disney like 6 times a year or so for one or two nights. The rules specifically say length of stay and not other resorts, not to not share with your family.

Also you may want to share with your dh and have your children have their own, its makes a great souvenir and they dont have to fight over who gets what and who has the mug.
