refillable mugs

I was wondering if it's against the rules to bring the refillable mugs to different resorts. We bought ours at WL in 2003. It was very convenient when we went to other resorts to try out the pools (our pool was really lame and db wanted to try a different one).As I was telling my friend about these trips we got into a very heated argument about whether this is allowed. Will someone PLEASE tell my friend that these mugs are refillable anywhere anytime!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
