Refillable Mugs...yellow tops?

What happened to all the current mugs with yellow tops/handles??? Does anyone know? When we were there in June, they were all gone, and I KNOW they exist! I am not exaggerating when I say we went to almost all of the resorts looking for one. I asked just about everywhere I went and some of the CMs told me there wasn't yellow~ever. I KNOW this isn't true!

Can anyone confirm for me that the yellow mugs do/did exist to prove to my family I am not loco,
and if anyone knows, where did they all disappear to????
We are going again in January and we have a family of 5...need (and want) different colors!

They do exist. I even have one myself. I stayed at SSR in late March and they had blue, yellow and pink then. I know they have came out with black since.

They definitely exist; one is sitting in my kitchen cabinet. I purchased it at BLT in April, the week before Easter.

During our trip 2 weeks ago at AKL, there were no yellow top/handle mugs at the Mara. Just blue, pink and black. I suspect black replaced yellow, as there were no black ones at BLT in April.

We were at Riverside from June 2-12 and I didn't see any yellow.

They do exist. They must've been out of them.

I have a mug with a yellow top and lid. I can't remember if it was from the trip in 2009 or 2010 though. I still miss the resort specific mugs

I think they've changed the colors for the season. We saw people using mugs with yellow, purple, green and some other 4th color and when I asked the person using the yellow mug she said she had it from her April trip.

Last week all that I saw available at check-in (at BW, BC, CR) were black, teal, bright pink.

If you want to mix up the colors, I've heard people using "old" lids in the other colors on the mugs to keep them from getting mixed up. Or, you switch the lids on a couple of them so handle and cover don't match to keep them straight.

We had them at the beginning of May at POR and we have 2 so yes they do exist. I think most Boy/man picked the yellow as the blue was still a bit girly with kindo sparkles in the color while the yellow is plain old yellow.

Yellow did exists!

We got one in March at ASMo.

Went back to POFQ in June and no yellow- replaced with black.

Not sure why, either!

Just read on the other mug thread that purple, green, orange are the NEW colors being used at ASSp.

Thanks everyone! I'll be glad to show your responses to my family so they don't think I"m nuts

I like the idea of switching up the lid color with the handle colors since most likely we won't be able to find 5 different colors. We've even written on names on the bottom of the cups with Sharpies on previous trips but they still seem to get mixed up from time to time.

It's interesting that it seems like they are coming out with different colors this time around...

I just posted this a few weeks ago on the resorts thread... (It might help those of you who need several different colored mugs.)

Ok, off work for the summer, and too much time on my hands (which is great, btw). I just got back from WDW, and we got the refillable mugs for the first time. Since there are only 3 colors but 4 of us, I switched a couple of lids so we could tell them apart. When I got back home, I posted on how to clean them, and then after doing some more research, I discovered that the "open/close thingy" at the top pops off the lid so you can clean underneath it. That got me thinking about all the different color possibilities. For example, if you used a mug with a black handle, you could add a blue lid and a pink "open/close thingy." So, I have figured 27 different combinations. (I think this is right.) So for those of you who go to WDW a lot and get several mugs of the same design but want to be able to tell them apart, who knows, reading this thread may have been worthwhile. Unless, of course, you had already thought of this idea.

We were able to get only 3 colors at OKW in June--black, blue, and pink. If you can get a yellow one, I figured that would increase the color combinations to 64!

This past May we bought a pink and a yellow one. They were out of the pink ones at POFQ, so we walked down to PORS to get one. We asked the CM at POFQ and she said they did have them, but apparently was out. Two days later they had all four colors (pink, yellow, black, and aqua blue).

I believe there is green as well. I have a yellow one, couldnt find the black one when i was at SSR in May
