Refillable mugs...swap?

Hello! Everyone in my family is a big drinker (coffee, soda, etc. haha)...Rather than buy 4 refillable mugs for $12 each, could I theoretically use someone else's if they purchased them on a previous vacation this year? Or, do they change the design on the mugs so that people won't do this? Maybe I can do a "mug swap" with someone leaving WLR on the same day we're arriving...we're really on a shoestring budget so if I can save $48 I'll do it!

sorry you can't do that. It states on the mug that Free Refills until the End of your stay.

Each family will need to buy their own mugs.

Hi powellrj...How do they know when the end of your stay is? Do they "card" you somehow to keep track?

This would be a violation of the spirit of the rules (if not the actual rules themselves). It's not something that we encourage doing here on the DIS, so a refillable mug swap will not be allowed on this board and this thread will be closed.
