Refillable Mugs & Split Stays

Holy moly..that is some pretty awesome pixie dust!,,,

it'd be nice if I had more than just one more stay! I feel like I should ship this mug to other DISers and let it get some maximum value.

Thanks for this info, we are at BLT for 20 days so will remember to ask them to extend it for me. Id hate to be on morning #15 and be delayed getting my morning coffee

We go for 4 weeks in the summer and have never had a problem with them reactivating our mugs. The CMs are always interested to hear all the different resorts we’ve stayed at

Yes. I bring mine with me now because it is great to have that to hold drinks vs a cup with no lid. And, if I end up with extra soda from lunch, it does keep it colder!

If you are doing a split stay and end up at Vero, the mugs are good there too.

If I eat at other resorts' QS during my stay, and have my refillable mug with me. will I be able to use it there? And can I buy my refillable mug at a resort other than where I'm staying (say, the first night I go to eat at another resort's QS). It sounds like I can.

Although the mug works for 14 days, if it is a dining plan mug, and one changes resorts (and only bought the dining plan for the first resort) is it within the rules to use the mug for 14 days?
I never buy the mug or the dining plan, but I almost bought the dining plan for our first night since we were changing resorts after the first night. I don't drink soda and I make coffee in my room. But I had been told that the water from the soda machines does taste better than the regular tap water (maybe it is filtered).

That is if you pay with your magic band. We ran into a problem Last summer we did a split stay at FQ, CBR, then Coronado and when we got to coronado it stopped working since it was past the 14 days. In their system its either length of stay or 14 day max which ever is longer. Most people wont run into this problem but we did for our last day. So make sure you buy them on your magic band!

If I buy the $20 refillable mug on the first day, but have a split stay, will my mug “know” to work the entire stay, or will it only work through my time at my first resort?

Just like others said you can get the mug activated for longer periods. I used 5 mugs from free dining in July 19 in December 19....just ask nicely. Also if you are a coffee and tea drinker most of the QS in the resorts don't have the same restriction on those as they do for soda pop....so bring your own cup for coffee and tea.

Yes, the dining Plan mugs are also activated for 14 days. I also think though you can get water from the machines for free. It works without a refillable mug
