I would love to buy a refillable mug at the WDW resort, but have just been informed that there is no juice in these soda fountains, only soda. No fruit punch, lemonade, or brisk tea? NADA. I don't know if they were just saying this or is there actually no juice at all? I don't drink any type of soda. And i'd hate wasting money on a mug i won't be using. Anyone know the drinks that the soda fountains at the resorts carry?

the poly also had light lemonade. and the brewed unsweetened iced tea. we enjoyed both of them, and barely used it for sodas.

I just got back Oct 7th and at AS Music we had apple juice, lemonade, hot chocolate, and raspberry tea (along with sodas). At POP they also have the frozen slushies.

You don't say where you're staying, but here is the beverage selection at POFQ. It's probably about the same as other resorts, although there may a few differences. Light lemonade and tea are available.

Please tell me that POP has brewed unsweetened Tea. It will make my vacation. That and water is all I drink. If they have tea, I will definately be getting a mug. I was debating before.

If anyone is staying at the Contemporary, it is my understanding that the temporary "Grab-n-Go" does NOT have a refill station so buying the refillable mugs aren't a big money saver unless you just want one as a souvenir. Someone please correct me if I am wrong, but this is the impression I have gotten from 'several' sites. (Believe me, I would LOVE to be wrong about this--DH is a diet soda ADDICT!)

We are staying at AKL, how far away is the refill station from most of the rooms? Should we bring drinks to keep in the room as well?

Really? and they allow you to use your refill mugs? That sounds great! I hope they have that at All Star Sports

Pop has unsweetened Ice tea its on the its at the beverage station on the far right at the end if you are standing by the registers.
they also have Lemonade mixed in with the soda.
I was always mixing half lemonade and half ice tea!!

if the ice tea container was empty I would just make my own as they have both Lipton tea and twinings tea bags at the beverage stations.

Love the pictures!:confused3 Does anyone know about ASMO? Thinking of getting mugs for the children. Would love to know if ASMO has apple juice or even milk would be great!

Thank you. :cool1: Now I now I will be getting a mug.

We got mugs a couple of trips ago and found we didn't use them enough to make it worth the money. The only meal we ate (sometimes) at the resort was breakfast (and half the time, we had breakfast in our room).

I don't drink a lot of pop, either, and it simply wasn't worth it to us. I also don't drink coffee or tea, so it would only be worth it to me if I could get milk or juice. At the time (2002), our food court wouldn't let you get either option in the refillable mugs.

Plus, once you use them for breakfast, you have to either 1) lug them all the way back to your room before leaving for the parks or 2) carry them around all day. Neither option is appealing, especially if your room is pretty far from the food court.

They ae now identical mugs and are dated (eg 2007). I don't think you are supposed to reuse them on a different trip. I suppose that if you went twice in a calendar year it would be possible. I personally would not feel right doing so. They are nice insulated mugs, we use ours at home!

I've heard refillable mugs can be reused any visit in a year. Anyone know if this is true?

We stayed at the WL for the last 2 years. This past summer, when we returned, we brought 2 of the 4 mugs back with us. My son asked if he could reuse his mug this year, and was told he could.

I will be using our YOAMD mugs from our 5/07 trip on our 12/07 trip, and will still sleep well at night. :lmao:

Edited to add: Before anyone yells, I did not use our 10/06 AKL Mara mugs on our 5/07.

If memory serves me, the refill station is near the pool, (but not the bar at the pool) sort of in the "basement" of AKL . I guess it depends on how much you will be drinking. I would say that it is fairly far from most rooms, but not so far that I wouldn't do it for a "free" drink!
