Refillable mugs included?

I was wondering if anyone knows why refillable mugs are included with the new counter service plan and the deluxe plan but not with the basic dining plan? Just curious

Only Disney knows for sure. I'm sure it has to do with cost points and packaging of the plans. You could make the point, why doesn't the Basic Plan include 2 snacks, etc, etc.

It is included in the new quick serve CS plan, i would guess $$$$$$$.

To me with the price of the CS plan it is just not a good deal I would imagine they are throwing in the free mugs to try to make it more appealing.

Do you think the refillable mugs will be "generic" like they were this year?
If we purchase the counter service plan I would want to use the mugs at the other resorts too, not just the on we are staying at. We like to check out the other resorts and grab a quick bite ....

What a nice feature with the generic mugs! Can refill at all other Disney Resorts...You're right, makes it so convenient when visiting other Resorts, other than your home resort!

My theory...Refill often, especially in the Orlando summer heat!

Hope they KEEP THE GENERIC MUGS NEXT YEAR!!!

I would bet that the regular dining plan is probably the one that Disney makes the least amount of money on, so they would'nt dare add a mug to the mix. Just my thoughts.

I'll be getting the basic plan and will bring back an old refillable mug like I always do!

We look forward to getting new mugs on every trip. Our last CBR mugs are different then our first. One year at POR we bought mugs then bought more on our last day because they brought out 4th of July mugs. They are a favorite souvenior of ours.
