Refillable mugs at HHI

If we choose to buy the refillable mugs at HHI, does everyone on the reservation need to buy them (as is required at WDW) or can we just get a couple? The kids would probably use them but not the adults. We never used the ones we were required to buy at WDW. Only the kids used theirs. It was a waste of money for the adults.

I’ve purchased the refillable mug. I drink only water and my husband buys the mug for his drinking preference of fountain drinks. We were never required to both get them.

You just buy however many you want, same as at WDW.

There's no requirement for everyone to get one, even at WDW. I think you're thinking of the dining plan or packages purchased along with your room reservation.
