refillable mugs at Fort

Hi! Are there refillable mugs at the Fort, and if so, where can I fill them?

Yes there are. Fill them at Trails End, the meadows or at the pool snack bar which is open limited hours.

Trails End and the pool snack bar are full service, i.e. soda, coffee & tea

The Meadows is coffee and tea only, no soda fountain

Mugs are resort specific - FW mug is different than WL mug.

I answered you in another thread, and you are incorrect. I have checked with the front desk managers at both resorts - mugs are resort specific and not interchangeable.

I agree with ftwildernessguy; I also have checked with both resorts - mugs CAN NOT be used at both.

For the benefit of folks looking for correct information, please stop telling folks this is within the rules.

Are these mugs really that beneficial? I love the coffee at Disney. I get it from the Meadow each day we're there and I like a cup from places in the parks that sell the same kind as FW. It has good flavor and is better than mine. lol. I may have to get one next trip especially if we're there when it's hot my daughter and I can have it at the pool.

We enjoyed having he refillable mugs but I'm not really into hot liquids in plastic. The sodas were great though.

Thought I would revive this thread. I saw on some older posts people thought it was too much trouble to go to TE and the trading posts to refill. I think it's a matter of your schedule. I personally like FW coffee and will continue to let them make the coffee when I visit. I just got a mug yesterday and we're already at the paid off mark. I drink 2 cups a day of coffee and maybe one at night and dd had 2 cokes yesterday.

I love the mugs and think it's so worth it. we bought our mugs 2 yrs. ago thinking we can use them for just plain camping other than FtW. They have paid for themselves and then some. It's nice to hook them to my "stupid" looking fanny pack (hate wearing it but it's lighter than my backpack) and when we go to watch the fireworks and electric water pagent we fill up once again.
During the summer (july 06) we biked to WL and filled up our mugs twice and no one said anything. I didn't know you could only use them at your own resort. I know now-thanks for the info.

I've used the same ones for 2 yrs. Or 1.5 yrs. I'm sure of that.

I've used previously purchased mugs at the WL. I am aware that they have signs now that they are for your current stay..but when we purchased our original mugs they TOLD us they were good forever. The logo and mug haven't changed. If it did..I'd probably buy new ones..just because I'd like to have them anyway. I personally don't loose sleep at night because I've re-used a mug from a previous trip. I've also seen people from the Caribbean Beach and POR fill their mugs at the WL. Now..I'm not saying that's right either..but no one has stopped them. We stay at the Lodge..but like to go to the food court at the Caribbean Beach..and no..I don't take my WL there. When we stay at FW I look forward to purchasing an official FW mug. In any case..I don't think the Disney Police jump out from behind the soda dispenser with lights and sirens, throw you to ground..cuff you, and in the name of Walt arrest you. Worst case scenario.. they'd probably, very politely ask you to purchase a new mug.

At the Meadow's Snack Bar one day, the CM there said he fills mugs so worn out that you can't tell what they use to have on them!! (Just saying. Not endorsing the practice of mug abuse. )
