Refillable mugs at BLT

I love refilling my mug and dd's mug by the pool.

The mugs came with our deluxe dining plan when we stayed at BLT in May.

We filled them a few times but were not concerned about getting our money in drinks.

The mugs were the 'only' souvenir I took home that trip and I use them to carry my work coffee. The ones we got at BLT/Contemp were some of the prettiest so far, and I've really enjoyed using them.

After the dishwasher takes the color of them, I usually trash them, which also coincides with the next DVC trip. I wouldn't dream of coming home without a new mug!

For the price of 3 mugs, you can rent a car and go grocery shopping. We find the refill station locations inconvenient and the mugs too small.

Thanks, but we're driving 1200 miles to WDW so when we get there we just let the car sit in the parking lot. We bring some groceries with us but take buses and monorails to keep driving to a minimum.

We don't buy a lot of souvenirs; we do like the mugs as a fun and relatively practical reminder.

Ask for a room near the south elevator. However, I would prefer to ask for a view versus trying to save me a five minute walk. That's all it is from one end of BLT to the other, five minutes maybe 8 if you walk slower, plus the 4 minutes across the skybridge to the Contempo cafe.

I forgot to mention that we have 2 Standard view studios booked and can't quite figure out where in the building those are located--basically anywhere that doesn't have a lake view or MK view?

SV studios are the 1st and 2nd floor of both sides of the tower for the most part. They go as high as the 5th floor on the MK side because of the monorail. They are very limited in numbers. If I wasn't on my iPad I'd copy the thread link that has blt room views and categories. Maybe some other nice member will do.

Thanks for the link simmons_m, I was looking at that thread a few days ago and couldn't find it again.
And thanks for the explanation JWG--I was having a hard time figuring out that thread when I looked at it before and and only realized after you explained that there are 2 types of color coded charts with the standard view locations given on the lower chart.

We were there over Christmas and used our mugs quite a bit. Now we were on the fifth floor which is the sky bridge floor that goes right to the fourth floor for CR so not even an elevator was needed. Plus DD and DS like to refill all our mugs!! That is sort of their job - when we come back from the parks they willingly go fill all the mugs, the same thing in the evening.
