Ok, I know people have talked about these in the past but I haven't really paid much attention to the posts since I've never had a mug. :rolleyes1 Now with our package next year we are all getting one refillable mug. Can anyone explain to me how these work and where/what we can use them for at FW ?? :confused3

I don't know the answer, but what package did you get that came with a mug? That would be awesome for us.

The official "rules" of the refillable, length of stay mugs are:

1) They are only to be used at the resort you are staying in. At the Fort, that includes Meadow Trading Post for coffee & hot tea & Trails End (by the take-out cashier) for soda, coffee & hot tea.

2) They are for your length of stay, only.

Now....the original mugs used to be "branded" with the various logos of the resorts - which made it obvious if you were at FW or WL and using a Contemporary Resort Mug.

The 2007 mugs (which I'm sure will be changed once 2008 arrives) are the same mugs used through-out all the resorts.

The mugs are currently priced at $11.99 + tax. I don't believe they are included in any of the dining plan packages.

How long you use them (repeat visitors) and at which resorts is strictly between you and your conscience. ;)

We are going to get the deluxe dining plan. It comes with 3 meals a day (all of which can be table service if you want) 2 snacks, and then we each get one mug to keep. I just don't know what good the mugs will do us...we are not coffee drinkers. The plan is expensive and much more than we would ever spend on food during a normal vacation. :scared1: But since we are going at Christmas and will need ADR's for any table service places anyway, I figured we might as well do it. As I've said in other posts...I prefer NOT to cook while at WDW...too many great places to eat and I don't want to have to come all the way back to the site to make a meal (and take the chance of the parks filling up and not being able to get back in during the Christmas/NYE season). So we are going with the DDDP. I have about 14 months to save up for it ;)

Yes - the Deluxe Dining Plan comes with mugs now! :goodvibes

We like filling our mugs with pink lemonade at the Trail's End. Then, we rock on the rocking chairs on the front porch of Crockett's Tavern, and watch the people go by!

didnt you mean "watch the tourists go by"

:thumbsup2

So the drinks are FREE ?? That rocks :cool1: We love lemonade and hot cocoa...odd combo, huh ?? LOL

Sorry, but cocoa is not included :sad2: .

Some CM's at Meadow will kinda sorta turn their heads if you get cocoa, others will point at the sign at the coffee station that definitely states cocoa is not included. (Neither is beer at Crockett's - )

I think it's great that the deluxe dining plan includes a mug now!!!:thumbsup2

Another poster said cocoa not included but there is hot water on the coffee machines so you can bring your own and save some boiling water time.

Sorry, bigdisneydaddy - but being as how you are a Michigan-der - that makes you a tourist!:lmao:

Big Disney Daddy is sacked on the play for a 20 yard loss. 2nd Down

....but he called for a time-out before the play started .......honest.......yep.....saw it.....yu-huh....

Let's go to the booth for the replay (or the sideline of whoever the Pats are playing)......

If you REALLY want to frame it in a way that I can relate to you could say:

I got up under him going into turn 4 and got him a little loose, then I got into him a little and spun him into the safer barrier.

Thats what I understand.

I'm pretty sure the hot water hookup at each site is hot enough for cocoa, so you don't even have to go to the Meadows or TE for that.

OH no no no..... I beg to differ. I am considered a "local" these days.

Such a pity. Bigdisneydaddy is suffering the delusional effects of spending too much time at FW. He now thinks he's a Florida local. :sad2:

There are only two types of Floridian's:

Florida born & raised

and

Dang Yankee Transplants!!

I'm a DYT married to a FB&R - that makes me Floridian by - well,,, you figure it out!:rotfl2:

I do however, own two - 2007 re-fillable length of stay mugs!! (Savin' the thread here!):rolleyes1
