Refillable Mug ???

We are sailing on the Wonder and still have mugs from our last trip. I don't want to scam DCL, but can we just pay for the soda program and keep using our old mugs? We already have a set and don't really need another set.

Also, I can't remember if they check your stateroom number when you refill them. Can anyone clue me in on that?

While they do not ask for your cabin number, they do check the design of the mug. Some guests have been denied the soda if they have a resort mug or one from a previous cruise.

Here is a tip:

What we did was but one mug, then when it was filled we transfered it into the resort mugs that we brought along, then took a trip back to refill it again and so on till we were soda satisfied. We were on the 7 day and the price was $35.00 and there were only 2 of us, so for a family of 5 this might be more of a hassle than it is worth.
