Refillable mug question

Hi! Looking at previous threads - it states mugs are good for 14 days/length of stay.

Scenario: staying 2 nights at Resort A, Then Disney cruise, then staying at Resort B

All nights total (including cruise) - less than 14.

Can I buy a mug at resort A and then use at resort B after the cruise?

If so - tips? Like should I save my receipt in case of deactivation?

Yes, you can use the same mug. I wouldn't worry about the receipt.
My son's mug mysteriously deactivated on the 3rd or 4th day of our trip. I went to the cashier, said "my son's mug stopped working" and she reactivated it with no questions asked.

Yes you can use it. I got one for our 5 night stay in May and when I used it, it had been activated for the full 14 (it told me on the drink machine). I wasn't sure if would really be worth it, but it was.

We used to stay for 17 nights and at that time it was length of stay or 14 nights , but on day 13 we would explain we have a 17 night stay and it was extended by another 14 days without any questions being asked (that was at OKW Goods to Go usually).

If you are not staying at a disney resort can you still use the mug for 14 days.

Staying at POFQ for 5 nights. Then universal for 1 night. Then we are at Swan and Dolphin for 5 nights and Bonnet Creek after.

The swan and dolphin we could easily walk over to a disney resort and refill day 7 - 11.

Can we do this?

Yes, you can refill the mug for as long as it's active. Not sure that it's worth a separate trip over to YC from Swolphin for drinks, though. It's not that close to the nearest refill station.

Its more if we are in the area anyway just popping in the bag. Planning on a yacht club lunch and some other epcot area lounge / dinner bookings.
