Refillable Mug Poll

I've never bought a refillable mug. But, the only time we stayed for a week, we stayed at Shades of Green, so no mug to buy. Our other trips were only for a few days, and it wasn't worth it for me (not enough time at the resort). Our next trip will be for a week at the Contemporary, so I do plan to buy a mug then.

Do you automatically get them with the dining plan now or did you mean you get them because you have the dining plan and you can use them more often? I buy one every year, but I also get the dining plan...just curious.

If we have a 2 bedroom DVC we dont get one. But if we stay in a studio we get the mugs.

i voted "other" 'cause we only buy them when our room is close enough to the food court to make them worth our wile... the design is not that important to us... ease of use is!

**DISNEY GETS THEIR COKE PRODUCTS FOR FREE**

It costs Disney 5 cents for each cup of soda they sell....for the cup, that's it. Coke is a huge sponsor and donates their product to Disney.

In the past several Cast Members have told me the exact same thing.

Every time I travel to WDW I always forget to pack the ones I bought on the previous trip , so I always purchase them when we get to the hotel.

It doesnt matter what I do, I cant remember to bring them.

Prior to that we each bought a new one each trip. We've got more than a dozen around here.

We buy new mugs each trip. We are trying to stay in different resorts, so they are different designs.

We reuse ours, especially since they are all the same. I'm not going to buy any more mugs until a new design comes out.

We get new ones every time. They save us a lot of money, given the amount of coffee and soda pop we drink when we're there, so we don't mind paying the price. Besides, we love having them at home!

If we only went to Disney once a year, I'd buy new mugs every time. But we went 4 times in less than a year. In December 2006 we bought the ASMO-specific mugs and never reused them. But we used the same mugs for our July, October and December trips this year. Sorry, I'm not buying three times the exact same mugs, especially since we never use them at home.

Since it was our last trip of 2007, we left the mugs in our room at the end of our stay. We'll buy new ones in 2008.

Considering our July+October+December trips put about 12K in Mickey's pocket, I really doubt they care if we bring our mugs to drink the soda they don't pay for.
If they do, they're welcome to send me a bill.

We get them every trip, and never fail to get our money's worth. On our last trip, which was only 3 nights, we got 2 mugs for 4 of us and that worked out okay but I still prefer having one for each of us.

Are they still doing the generic mugs?

I collected the resort ones. I have a nice collection. I refused to buy the generic ones.

I bought a few from the parks too.

We bought mugs once but it really wasn't worthwhile for us, so we don't purchase the mugs. We don't drink sodas (and the coffee isn't the greatest), so it's not "cost effective" for us.
