I only buy them when my old one doesn't match the current style. I always bring my old mugs back to use during our trips.
**DISNEY GETS THEIR COKE PRODUCTS FOR FREE**
It costs Disney 5 cents for each cup of soda they sell....for the cup, that's it. Coke is a huge sponsor and donates their product to Disney.
Everytime I fill up my refillable mug, it doesn't cost Disney a thing.

It's mostly because I stay at a different resort every time. If I'm only at a resort a few days, I bypass the mugs and just make my coffee in the room. (Always bring a coffee maker when I am staying Value). I use my mugs a work for coffee, and sometimes when I'm sitting outside on my patio, so I don't have to add more styrofoam to the garbage cans.
