Refillable Mug Materials Question

I often drink coffee and hot tea at home in my refillable mugs from past Disney trips. It serves as a happy reminder of previous WDW trips, and it makes me feel like my next trip is just a little closer. :drinking: As 2017 gets started, I'm trying to pay more attention to the materials and manufacturing of the dishware I use these days. Does anyone know if Disney's refillable mugs are BPA free and where they might be made?

Any info would be awesome. Thanks so much!

P.S. I wasn't sure where to post this question...if I posted it in the wrong place, I apologize! Please feel free to move it to the proper location!

I saw Steven Segal stick a Disney mug once in a microwave to the detriment of several savory characters. :)

Okey doke. That's good to know. I don't microwave...I just drink and then put them in the dishwasher. I assume they are dishwasher safe?

Any idea where the mugs are made? Mine says on the bottom Whirley Warren, PA USA. Can I assume they are made in the US?

They are made at the Whirly cup plant in Warren Pa, just as it is printed.
Always chuckled to have to go to WDW to get a cup that was made about an hour from where we live.
They will sell run offs from other businesses, but never Disney.
