refillable mug and split stay

I just want to make sure I am understanding this correctly. We have a 1 night All Star stay sandwiched on either end of our 4 night Package at CBR. We should wait to purchase our refillable mugs until we get to CBR because if we got it at the All Star we would not be able to use it at CBR. Right?

The mugs are generic or th same style mug at both of those resorts so you can use these at both resorts even thou you are only suppose to use them ion the resort you purchace them at.

the mugs are generic right now, but that does not mean that Disney can't/won't change them in the future

IMO, and yes, it's not worth much, ask my wife, in this case, I dont even think a disney person would have a problem with using it. Yes, technically you are supposed to buy one for each resort, but it's not like you are wanting to use it a year later or at another resort then the one you are staying in. If they are still the year of a million dreams one, I say buy it and use it.

Since both the All Star Resorts and Caribbean Beach are both selling the Year of a Million Dreams mugs, if you wanted to get them at the All Star Resorts and bring them to the Caribbean Beach there would be no problem with that.

Yes, you can use your mug at any other resort, during the stay in which it was purchased. The mugs used to be sold as usable only at the resort at which it was purchased, during the stay in which it was purchased. Disney has changed that now.....if you start your trip at, lets' say, POP and you buy a mug there, you use it for the time you are at POP. Then, when you move over to, let's say CBR, you take your mug with you and continue using it there.
If you read the wording on the side of each mug, it will tell you that the mug is good at the resort beverage stations for the trip in which it was purchased. No problem bringing it to the next resort with you.
